8. Google calendar data

Outscale, our platform, can read your Google calendar if you choose to link it. Here is exactly what that means.

What we access. Read-only access to the calendars you own, and to Google Meet's record of who joined your calls. We also see your Google account's email address, so you can see which account is linked. We can't add, change or delete anything in your calendar.

How we use it. Once an hour we look at your calendar for sales calls, meaning meetings with people outside your company. For each event we look at its time, title, description and guest list.

  • - If an event isn't a sales call, we keep only Google's id for it, so we don't read it again. We delete that id after 120 days.
  • - If it is a sales call, we keep its time, title, a shortened description, the guests and who joined. We use them to count your sales calls and show them to your company in Snapshot.
  • - If we run your outreach for you, our team working on your account sees your sales calls too.

AI. To decide whether an event is a sales call, we send its title, a shortened description and its guests to OpenAI. OpenAI processes it for us and doesn't use it to train its models. We don't use your Google data to train any AI model.

What we never do. We never sell your Google data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as described here.

Storage. Your access is stored encrypted in our database, and only the hourly read can use it.

Stopping. Unlink at any time in Settings > Calendar sync. We delete your access and withdraw it at Google. You can also remove Outscale in your Google account's security settings. Sales calls already counted stay in your reports unless you ask us to delete them, at hello@upscaleoutreach.com.

Outscale's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. How can you contact us with further questions?

If you have additional questions that have not been answered, please reach out to us via chat on this site.
